The Hive Club app to manage your freelancing income

We built the first prototype of our Hive Club app! Take a look at the app we’re building for you to manage your freelancing income and let us know what we should improve.

As a member, you get to decide how you want to manage your revenue as a freelancer. You determine your salary, your employment benefits, such as paid leave, insurance or a 13th month. And you decide what you want to spend the remainder of your business income on. Hive Club makes reservations for your taxes and pays you cash back when you save on taxes.


To manage all of your income and expenses, we are building the Hive Club app, exclusive to members. You can sign up via the app as a new member (or log in as an existing member). Upload your client contract and assign it to Hive Club. Once your client has confirmed the reassignment, Hive Club will collect your invoiced amounts going forward.

  

Now you are ready to manage your income and expenses. After inputting your monthly revenue, you connect your bank account to let the app capture your expenses. The app automatically categorizes them into business expenses and personal expenses and provides you with a suggested salary level, business expense budget and how much cash you can get back. You then either reconfigure or accept the suggestions.


The business expense budget that is now created, you use to fund the employment benefits of your choice such as paid leave, medical aid, retirement fund and so on. The remainder you allocate to your personal savings goals.

Track your progress

Not yet visualised on the app, are your personal dashboards, showing you what you spend your money on every month, as well as your progress in reaching your goals.
